When Steeve Daenzer took over the family dairy farm in 2016, he decided to redirect his agricultural activity towards suckler cow breeding. The idea of offering a product that he has followed from grass to plate has been on his mind for a long time. Steeve and his wife Caroline choose Salers cows, a rustic and very maternal meat breed. Since 2017, they have gradually built up a new herd of 45 head.
The Salers de Caroline and Steeve Daenzer feed on the forage of Ferme de la Rosette in Château-d'Œx and, in summer, on the grass of the pastures of the Preises mountain pastures in Les Mosses.
The slaughterhouse of Les Moulins, of which Steeve has taken over the presidency, is in charge of preparing the organic products of Ferme de la Rosette. In addition to fresh or processed beef, Caroline and Steeve also offer fresh pork and lamb meat and various farm products.
