Exhibition "Creative Colours" - Watercolours by Gwenola Hemlin

Nov 1, 2019 - Jan 1, 2020
Château-d'Oex - Exposition

Gwenola Hemlin will be exhibiting at the Espace Durable gallery in Château-d'Oex from 1 November 2019 to 1 January 2020. Free admission from Monday to Saturday

Gwenola Hemlin, born 1952 in Quebec City, studied art in Montreal from 1968 to 1973 (Cegep du Vieux Montréal 68/70, then UQAM 70/73) and painting in Dornach from 1999 to 2004 (Rudolf Steiner School of Painting).
Since then she has continued her research on vegetable pigments on various themes, examining their variations for slight modifications of colours and/or colour gradients. The focus is on the activity of each colour in its individual character and movement in order to create a pattern that is at the centre of research.
She has taught courses in Dornach (Rudolf Steiner painting school), at the UPJ in Delémont, Montreal and Val David in Quebec.
