In the heart of Pays-d’Enhaut and the Vaudois Alps, the Rougemont ski area is a must for accomplished skiers seeking an adrenaline rush.
Accessible by car or with the MOB train from Montreux, the village of Rougemont is known for its typical Swiss ambiance and its ski slopes linked to the resort of Gstaad. The Rougemont-La Videmanette cable car carries skiers to the peak (2,100 m) which affords magnificent panoramic views over the Gstaad Dolomites.
From here, skiers and snowboarders set off down the longest slope of the valley: 10 km of skiing/boarding and a change in height of 1,200 m! This demanding slope can be enjoyed by less experienced skiers too, the start being a red and the rest a blue.
