Stroll through Rougemont enjoying local culinary specialities and the arts and crafts of the region. That’s the attraction of the traditional Village Market at the beginning of August. With over hundred stallholders displaying their wares, it makes for a day that’s as savoury as it is fun.
Every summer in August, the Village Market welcomes you to Rougemont for a day that combines the pleasures of the mouth and crafts. More than 100 exhibitors take turns in the village street, which is closed to traffic for the occasion.
The stroll can then begin with the discovery of the various stands of authentic products from the region, local specialities and crafts from here and elsewhere. Numerous activities for young and old punctuate this warm and festive event: bouncy castle, Pif the Clown and Mimi the Grimeuse, climbing wall, caricaturist and musical entertainment.
An unbeatable recipe for sharing good times in a friendly atmosphere.
Visitors will have access to the Fontaines car park (at the bottom of the Videmanette ski lifts). A shuttle bus will be available all day to take visitors to the market entrance.
Bars and canteens in the village street throughout the day.
Programme of the day:
10:00 am: Market opening
17:00: Concert by the Rougemont Military Band at the college
18h00: Closing of the market
In the evening: Various restaurants and bars will welcome you in the village street
