In the hills of Lammermuir, in the south of Scotland, the beautiful Lucia finds at each dawn a mysterious young man with whom she is in love : Edgardo, of the Ravenswood line. But as in Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, the lovers are from two warring families and are not allowed to love each other.
