Corinne Karnstädt-Brulhart was born on September 17, 1971 in Lausanne. Self-taught, it was in 1999 that she bought a scroll saw and began to make wooden names as puzzles.
In 2004, she participated in her first Christmas market organized by the Tzamartisans in Château-d'Oex.
Loving the traditions of her region, especially the "découpages" of the Pays-d'Enhaut, she decided in 2005 to paint cuttings on wooden supports. Respecting the well-known paper cutters in her valley, she made her first Poya clock the same year.
Dynamic and always looking for new creations, it is in October 2008 that she tries the art of cutting on paper, she made some tests with the cutter and quickly caught the virus. She began by making some small pieces for her family and friends, and has created her first large round cutting that she will call "Mes racines".
